Dermaplaning facial

Dermaplaning facial

Dermaplaning facial is an innovative approach to removing dead skin cells, allowing a jump start for skin renewal and infusion of nutrients. It is a simple and safe procedure for exfoliating the epidermis and ridding the skin of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). Dermaplaning is most often used on those with rough, dry skin, superficial hyperpigmentation, mild acne scarring, or fine lines and wrinkles. This treatment results in a more refined, smooth, “glowing” appearance. Dermaplaning is only performed by licensed Estheticians that have been certified specifically for the treatment.

Dermaplaning is a safe and simple procedure for exfoliating the epidermis to eliminate the skin of the peach fuzz – vellus hair (soft facial hair) and also remove dead skin cells. A surgical blade is used to take off the build-up of dead skin, blocked pores and built up oils that can get trapped within the vellus hair. Dermaplaning results produce a smooth and glowing appearance with improved ease for makeup application. Additionally, this can also help with reducing fine lines, mild acne scarring and smoothing out bumpy skin complexion’s. It has recently become a celebrity popular treatment but has actually been around for some years.

This treatment is ideal for those with rough, dry skin, mild acne scarring and oily skin to leave you looking and feeling refreshed not to mention that baby soft skin feel. Totally invasive, painless and no recovery time needed.
Results are instant and unlike microdermabrasion, you will not need a course of treatments to see results. We recommend dermaplaning every 4 weeks but this is a personal preference for your hair growth. Please do not worry about speeding up hair growth as the vellus hair will regrow at the same rate and will not regrow any different.
